Gurgaon: An FIR has been filed after a man alleged his gold ring was stolen by two unidentified women who approached his car outside a liquor shop on Golf Course Road late on Tuesday night.According to police, the complainant, a resident of DLF Phase 3, Sector 24, claimed the incident took place around 9.50 pm in front of the G Town liquor shop where he has sitting in his car with a friend. He said they went there to buy wine.The complainant told police that two women, one wearing a pink top and the other a black one, came near his car and asked for a couple of cigarettes. He alleged that after handing a cigarette to the woman in the pink top, she opened the car door and made objectionable advances. She allegedly grabbed his hand and pinched his finger. Feeling uncomfortable, the complainant asked his friend to drive away from the spot.After moving around 200 metres, he realised his gold ring was missing. Suspecting that the woman had stolen it during the interaction, he returned to the spot but the two women had left already.A police officer involved with the investigation said the accused had reached the area 15 minutes before the incident. They are yet to be identified, he added.“We have gathered CCTV footage from the area and are trying to trace them. They will be nabbed soon,” the officer said.Police said the victim works at a private company in the city.Based on his complaint, the accused have been booked under Section 305(b) (theft in a means of transportation) of the BNS at the Sector 53 police station.
