Kolkata: MLA and BJP candidate for the upcoming assembly elections from Moyna, Ashok Dinda has moved the Calcutta High Court seeking details of the criminal cases pending against him. Appearing before the single-judge bench of justice Saugata Bhattacharyya on Tuesday, his counsel submitted that a request had been made to the administration on March 6 for the list of cases, but no information has yet been provided. The counsel argued that the details are required before the filing of nomination papers, the last date for which is April 9. Justice Bhattacharyya permitted the matter to be filed.
