Hyderabad: The BRS issued a notice to Tandur ex-MLA Pilot Rohit Reddy after he was recently named by police as one of several people being present at a farmhouse in Moinabad where drugs were allegedly consumed.In the notice, issued on the directions of party chief K Chandrasekhar Rao, the ex-MLA was told to submit a written explanation within seven days, party general secretary Soma Bharat said on Tuesday.Media reports about the incident have caused damage to the party’s reputation and have led to public concern, the notice said. “As a responsible political party, BRS is committed to following the law,” Bharat said.
