Mysuru: Karnataka State LPG Distributors’ Association president Mehul J Patel on Tuesday urged people not to panic as there is no shortage of domestic LPG cylinders in Mysuru and Chamarajanagar districts.He told reporters the ongoing conflict between US-Israel and Iran has created global uncertainty. However, there is no shortage in the supply of domestic LPG cylinders. Despite this, many consumers are rushing to book cylinders, fearing a possible shortage. He appealed to the public not to panic.
Patel said disruptions are being seen in the supply of commercial LPG cylinders, which has affected the hotel industry, as distributors are unable to supply the required quantity of cylinders for commercial use.Meanwhile, Chamarajanagar District LPG Distributors’ Association president and former MLA Nanjundaswamy said the issue related to commercial LPG supply may be resolved by next week.He pointed out that similar situations occurred twice earlier and were temporary. The situation is expected to improve from next week.
