Jaipur: The first-ever meeting of the Rajasthan chapter of the Indian Cricketers Association (ICA) was held at the Jaipur Club here on Sunday.The event saw active participation from more than 15 members in person and nearly 20 joining virtually from various cities.The programme was conducted by Deepak Jain, Director and Treasurer of ICA, who shared the vision and mission of the association.During the meeting, Sanjay Vyas was introduced as the new representative of ICA’s Rajasthan chapter. Members were informed about ICA’s mission, which is dedicated to addressing medical and financial exigencies of former first-class cricketers. ICA has been doing exceptional work, offering insurance coverage to all registered members, organizing annual medical check-up camps, and providing financial support for those in dire need.ICA has also extended significant medical aid to Rajasthan’s former cricketers, including Vivek Bhansingh, Najmal Hussain, Shailendra Kaushik, Hemendra Surana, and the late Bhanupratap Singh.Both men and women First-Class cricketers of Rajasthan attended the meeting, and the state currently boasts 62 ICA members. The meeting concluded with a lunch, and all suggestions from members were well received and will be forwarded to the ICA Board of Directors.Deepak Jain, Director and Treasurer, expressed heartfelt thanks to all members who participated and made the event a resounding success.
