Pune: A major blaze gutted a scrap godown and a garment shop along with a brand new bus parked near the godown at Rupinagar in Talawade on Sunday afternoon.The Pimpri Chinchwad fire brigade doused the fire within an hour. No one, however, suffered injuries. The reason behind the fire was being investigated.An officer from the Pimpri Chinchwad fire brigade said the fire brigade received a call at 2pm on Sunday. As many as 7 fire tenders immediately deployed to douse the fire. “We controlled the fire within 1 hour. It took time to cool down the fire completely,” the officer said.He said the reason behind the fire was not yet known. The fire damaged the entire godown and a garment shop near it. “A person parked his bus near the godown which was completely destroyed. He had purchased the bus merely eight days ago,” the officer said.eom\mt
