Gurgaon: A 26-year-old man died after jumping from the third floor of Ambience Mall in DLF Phase 3 on Sunday afternoon, police said.The deceased, Dishant, was originally from Muzaffarnagar in UP. Police said the incident took place around 3pm.Dishant was in the mall alone, officers said. At first, he stood near a food outlet, where he had just eaten, for some time. He then crossed the railing and jumped. Mall security personnel and staff immediately rushed to the spot and took him to Narayana Hospital for treatment. However, he died during treatment due to the severity of his injuries. Police from DLF Phase 3 police station reached the mall after receiving information and inspected the spot.“Dishant left his home in Muzaffarnagar on Saturday afternoon after telling his family that he was going to get pizza. He left around 3.30pm but did not return,” an officer said. “His family tried calling him several times, but his phone remained switched off,” the officer added. Police later informed the family about the incident.
