Sadar Kotwali police and the administration team raided a house in Jaitapur village on Friday and busted an illegally gas godown being operated from there. The police took one person in custody and siezed a large number of LPG cylinders, suspicious chemicals, and acid.On a tip-off, CO Ashok Kumar Singh and inspector Kotwali Rajkumar Singh, along with the tehsil administration, conducted raid at the house. District supply officer Sanjeev Kumar also reached the spot with a heavy police force.Officials found 19 empty cylinders and 10 filled cylinders and seized 176 litres of acid stored in bottles. Kotwali Inspector Rajkumar Singh said a man has been taken into custody.
