Bengaluru: Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) Friday launched 45 Karnataka Sarige buses and 70 Pallakki services as part of its International Women’s Day celebrations.The buses will operate to Udupi, Mangaluru, Mysuru, Chikkamagaluru, Agumbe, Raichur, Jamakhandi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Panaji and Madurai, among other destinations.KSRTC said 805 new Karnataka Sarige and city buses will be inducted into the fleet over the next three months. During the event, Shubha V, a Padma Shri awardee who developed Drishti, India’s first homegrown runway visibility system, was felicitated.
