Nagpur: Amid concerns over LPG availability, the district administration has formed 18 monitoring teams to ensure smooth supply, prevent panic buying, and conduct inspections at hotels and restaurants to curb hoarding and the misuse of domestic cylinders for commercial purposes. Officials said 14 teams have been constituted for rural areas — 1 each in 13 talukas and 1 at the district level — while 4 teams will operate in urban areas. These teams will conduct inspections and keep a close watch on distribution agencies. Authorities also reviewed supply of LPG cylinders to institutions such as mid-day meal kitchens and hostels, and directed agencies to ensure uninterrupted LPG availability.
