Surat: A four-day Surat International Auto Expo 2026, starting Friday, will be held at the Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Sarsana. Vintage cars will be the attraction of the expo, while a motorcycle stunt show will also be held.Organised by the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the expo will be inaugurated by Nitin Dosa, chairman of the Vintage and Classical Car Club of India. Chamber president Nikhil Madrasi said, “Gujarat is emerging as an automobile hub, and this mega show will feature leading companies from across the country showcasing cars, two-wheelers, commercial vehicles and the latest workshop technology. More than 70 brands from the car, two-wheeler, commercial vehicle and ancillary segments are participating.”The expo has been popular among Surtis over the past few years. It is one of the few exhibitions where SGCCI takes entry fees. “Due to the heavy rush and to ensure that the crowd is limited, entry is chargeable. In other trade and industry exhibitions, general citizens do not come, so entry is free, but at this expo a huge crowd comes every year,” said an organizing committee member.
