Ambala: Senior leaders and well-wishers continued to visit Haryana’s energy, transport and labour minister Anil Vij at his residence on Thursday to enquire about his health and wish him a speedy recovery. Among those who met the minister was former Haryana chief minister and Leader of Opposition (LoP) Bhupinder Singh Hooda.During the visit, Hooda interacted with Vij and enquired about his wellbeing, while extending his best wishes for the minister’s early recovery. The two leaders also held a brief conversation during the meeting. Hooda was accompanied by Badli (Jhajjar) MLA Kuldeep Vats, Ambala City MLA Nirmal Singh and Fatehabad MLA Balwan Singh Daulatpuria, along with other associates. Earlier in the day, several representatives from industry and business organisations also visited the minister to enquire about his health. Delegations from Science Industry, Rotary Hospital and the Haryana Chambers of Commerce and Industry met Vij and conveyed their wishes for his speedy recovery. Those who visited included senior chartered accountant AD Gandhi, industrialist Ashawant, Kamaljit Jain, CA Sanjay Lal, Ashwini Goyal, Puneet Gupta, Prof KK Jain, Suresh Dhiman and Subhash Bansal, among others. Adding a touching moment to the day, young schoolchildren from various educational institutions also visited the minister to check on his health and prayed for his early recovery. Representatives from several religious, social and other organisations, as well as Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers, also called on the minister to wish him well. Newly appointed judge meets Vij In a separate meeting, newly appointed Judge in the Gujarat judiciary Riya Goyal visited Vij at his residence to seek his blessings following her appointment. Congratulating her, the minister said that daughters of Ambala were reaching great heights and bringing pride to the city through their achievements. BJP leader Ravi Buddhiraja and members of Goyal’s family were also present during the meeting.
