Vadodara: The Special Operations Group (SOG) on Thursday arrested a man for allegedly practising medicine without possessing a medical degree in the city.Police said they received a tip-off that Dhaval Kawad had been running a clinic and practising allopathy in the Gajrawadi area for the past few years.Acting on the information, the SOG raided the clinic and asked Kawad to produce his medical qualification. When he failed to furnish any valid medical degree, police seized allopathic medicines, including antibiotics, cough syrup, glucose bottles, a stethoscope and a nebuliser from the clinic.Kawad, a native of Bhavnagar, is being questioned to ascertain whether he had been involved in similar activities earlier, police said.
