Jaipur: In-form Padmanabh Singh hammered half a dozen goals to steer Team Jaipur to semifinals of the Shree Cement Cup (out of hat) tournament. In a one-sided match played at the Rajasthan Polo Club Ground here on Thursday, Team Jaipur thumped Team Nahargarh 7-4.5 to seal the last-four berth.Besides Padmanabh’s six goals, Raghuram Hari chipped in with a goal. The team also featured Narendra Singh and Pratap Singh Kanota.On the other hand, Divyamaan Singh Dujod scored 2 goals, while Tarun Bilwal and Vishal Singh Rathore added a goal apiece. Vigrahraj Singh Kothariya also played for Team Nahargarh, which also started the match with a half-goal advantage.The first semifinal between Team Jaipur and Team Jaigarh will be played on Friday at 5 pm. The second semis will be played on Saturday, 14 March. The final of the tournament will be held on Sunday, March 15 at the Rajasthan Polo Club Ground.
