Mysuru: Deputy commissioner Lakshmikanth Reddy G presented the Sarvottama Seva Award to 10 govt employees at a ceremony at Kiru Rangamandira here Wednesday, recognising dedication and excellence in public service.The event, organised by the district administration and the Karnataka State Government Employees Association, honoured officials for commitment, efficiency and integrity. Inaugurating the 2023 awards, the DC said while private organisations motivate staff through incentives, the govt acknowledges merit through recognitions like the Sarvottama Seva Award, which boost morale and encourage better service. With administrative challenges on the rise, he urged employees to upgrade their skills and maintain high standards, adding that awardees should serve as role models.Zilla panchayat CEO Yukesh Kumar said a state’s development depends on coordinated efforts of govt departments and stressed the need to identify employees who display dedication, honesty and creativity.
