Prayagraj: District magistrate, Manish Kumar Verma, on Tuesday chaired a meeting and training programme with sector and static magistrates and other officers concerned for the smooth conduct of the written examination for Direct Recruitment-2025 for Sub Inspector, Civil Police and equivalent posts.The exams, condcuted by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, will be held at 43 centres in the Sangam city on March 14 and 15. The DM directed the sector and static magistrates, centre administrators, co-centre administrators and other officers to ensure the exams are conducted with responsibility and sensitivity, in a safe and copying free manner. He said confidential materials must be received only in the presence of the static magistrates and the centre administrators under CCTV surveillance. The officials will patrol the centres in their sectors during the examination period. Once the examinations were over, they will deposit the confidential materials in double-locked storage, under police custody, along the prescribed route. He directed the static magistrates to ensure all necessary arrangements and required actions are taken at the examination centres in accordance with the instructions issued by the recruitment board. He said any negligence would invite strict action. The exams will be conducted in two sessions–from 10 am to 12 pm and from 3pm to 5pm. About 53,760 candidates have registered for the exams in the district.
