Jaipur: Despite the govt prioritising uninterrupted LPG supply for domestic consumers, households across Jaipur are reporting difficulties in booking refills. Calls made from registered mobile numbers to the automated booking system are reportedly getting dropped, leaving families uncertain about whether their booking requests were confirmed. While officials insist there is no cause for panic, uncertainties in the booking process triggered unease among consumers who rely solely on LPG for daily cooking. Many users said repeated attempts to book refills through the interactive voice response system (IVRS) remained inconclusive, with no clarity on whether to keep trying or not. “While LPG supply is steady now, demand is rising because even those who do not need a refill immediately are also trying to book,” said Deepak Gehlot, president of the LPG Distribution Federation of Rajasthan. tnn
