Patna: A special medical camp was organised at the 47th Battalion Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Headquarters, located on the Gaya jail premises, on the occasion of the 87th Raising Day of the CRPF on Monday. Approximately 150 soldiers and their families underwent health check-ups.During the medical camp, screenings were conducted for heart disease, diabetes, blood pressure, dengue, and other ailments. Doctors also provided detailed information to soldiers and their families about preventive measures against these diseases and advised them to adopt a healthy lifestyle.The programme was jointly inaugurated by DIG (Medical) S K Rai and the Commandant of the 47th Battalion CRPF, Awadhesh Kumar.Rai said, “Organising such medical camps from time to time can provide better healthcare to soldiers and their families.”Commandant Awadhesh Kumar said that the CRPF is always vigilant about the health and well-being of its soldiers.
