An Indian Army soldier went missing during a river crossing training exercise in the general area of Sundarbani on Monday, Army said.
According to the White Knight Corps, Sepoy Akshit Sharma went missing at around 12 pm during the training exercise.
In a post on X, the White Knight Corps said that extensive search operations have been launched to trace the missing soldier.
“During a River Crossing Training exercise conducted in the general area of Sundarbani, Sepoy Akshit Sharma was reported missing at around 12 pm today. Extensive search operations are underway with all available resources of the Indian Army and civil agencies being employed to locate the soldier,” the post reads.
