In connection with the blessed Ashra-e-Maghfirat of the holy month of Ramazan, Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir, Dr. Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, delivered a sermon at Masjid-e-Qadeem, Lal Bazaar.
Addressing the gathering, the Mirwaiz highlighted the spiritual significance of the concluding days of Ramazan, describing them as days devoted to seeking Allah’s forgiveness, increasing supplications, and deep spiritual reflection. He urged the faithful to strengthen their connection with the Almighty through sincere prayers, repentance, and constant remembrance of Allah.
The Mirwaiz also observed that the Muslim Ummah is passing through a difficult and testing period, particularly in the Middle East. He called upon people to turn towards Allah with humility and earnest supplication, praying for peace, relief, and ease for those facing hardship and suffering.
Emphasizing the power of dua, he said that these blessed days of Ramazan are a time when believers should pray collectively for the well-being, unity, and dignity of the Ummah, and seek Allah’s mercy and forgiveness.
