Kanpur: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI), under the ‘Har Payment Digital’ mission, observes Digital Payment Awareness Week (DPAW) annually to highlight the importance of digital payments and create awareness about safe, secure, and informed usage of digital payment products.This year, DPAW is being observed from March 9 to March 15. The theme for this year’s awareness week is ‘Safe Digital Payments’, with emphasis on the message ‘Thoda Dhyan Se!’ (Be Careful /Be Alert!), highlighting the need for vigilance in digital transactions.The Reserve Bank requests public that they need not scan a QR code or enter a PIN to receive a payment. The Kanpur office of RBI will observe Digital Payment Awareness Week starting from Monday. tnn
