Chandigarh: Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday expressed grief over the tragedy that occurred at a factory in Safidon, Jind district, on Saturday, resulting in the death of four women. The CM prayed for the departed souls and conveyed condolences to the bereaved families. He said the state govt stood with the affected families in this difficult time and will provide them all possible assistance. He also wished a speedy recovery to the injured.Saini announced financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh to the families of each deceased person. In addition, each injured person will be provided financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh, he said.He directed officials to ensure the injured receive the best possible medical treatment in hospitals. The state govt already issued necessary instructions to the hospitals concerned for proper treatment of the injured, he added.The CM also directed the district administration to conduct a detailed investigation into the incident, so that its cause could be determined and necessary steps could be taken to prevent such incidents in future.
