Gurgaon: Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) has removed seven examination supervisors from duty for negligence and has caught three students using unfair means during the Class XII board examinations.The surprise inspections by the board’s flying squad were conducted on the instructions of the board chairman during the history and biology papers across Gurgaon, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri and Jhajjar districts on Friday. Two of the students were found using unfair means in Bhiwani district, while another student was caught in Charkhi Dadri. The inspection teams also found serious lapses in supervision by the staffers posted at different centres, following which the board removed the supervisors. In Gurgaon’s Nathupur, trained graduate teacher (TGT) Ajay Kumar was relieved from duty, while at the Panchgaon examination centre in Pataudi, TGTs Varun Yadav and Ranjit Singh were removed. At the Farmana-03 examination centre, physical training instructor (PTI) Anil Kumar and primary teacher (PRT) Sombir Singh Malik were removed from duty. PTI Jaswinder Singh was removed from duty at Barwala-01 centre and TGT Naresh Kumar was removed at Padla centre in Kaithal.Board officials said the flying squad will continue to conduct surprise inspections “to prevent cheating and ensure strict compliance with examination rules”. They added that the board has committed itself to maintaining transparency and fairness in the examination process and warned that any negligence by staff or attempts to cheat by students will lead to “immediate disciplinary action”.
