Hyderabad: BJP Telangana has criticised Congress leaders for what it described as “senseless and bizarre apprehensions” over the ongoing conflict involving the United States-Israel-Iran, accusing them of spreading confusion and displaying a lack of understanding of global geopolitics.State BJP chief spokesperson NV Subash said the remarks made by Rahul Gandhi, claiming that the conflict was in reality a confrontation between the United States on one side and China and Russia on the other, exposed his “complete ignorance of international affairs.”“On the face of it, Rahul Gandhi says it may look like a war between the US, Israel and Iran, but in reality it is a war between America, China and Russia. Such statements clearly reflect a lack of understanding of global developments,” Subash said.He further said the Union govt closely monitored the economic situation and already engaged exporters, shipping companies and other stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption to trade and supply chains.
