Bengaluru: Drawing the line on internet pranks, Bengaluru police Saturday apprehended an online prankster who shot a video in ‘Namma Metro’ using a toy gun.Arjun, a native of Puducherry, reportedly pranked commuters in a video that went viral on his Instagram account. The incident occurred on Feb 6, when he boarded a train from Dipanjali Nagar station.
“I was carrying a toy gun in my pocket, and the public got angry with me,” Arjun said in a video apology posted by Bengaluru city police. He also apologised to the commuters, assuring that he would not repeat such actions.This was not his first public prank in the city. Arjun’s Instagram handle, the_villian_arc, features several stunts shot in crowded places like shops and autorickshaws, where he was seen provoking strangers. The youngster has been living in Bengaluru for the past two years.“A prank with a toy gun is not a joke. It can create panic and threaten public safety. Public places are not for risky content. Think before you act,” police said.
