Ahmedabad: MoS (primary, secondary and adult education) Rivaba Jadeja on Saturday felicitated 30 remarkable women at an inspiring event at Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA). The event was jointly organised by Shalby Hospital and Angdan Trust to honor the spirit of female organ donors.“There can be no better way to celebrate Women’s Day than by honouring women who gave the ultimate gift of life. Their courageous and selfless act reminds us that humanity and empathy are the greatest strengths of our society,” said Jadeja on the occasion, applauding their bravery.Gayatri Sapedia, one of the many resilient donors felicitated at the event, said that she donated a kidney to her nephew to save him from a critical health crisis. “Donating my kidney gave him a second chance at life, and that is the greatest happiness for me. Living organ donation is medically safe, and today both of us are healthy and living an active life,” she said, encouraging others to consider this noble cause. This ceremony powerfully highlighted the life-changing impact of organ donation.
