Mysuru: Newly appointed civil judges who graduated from JSS Law College were felicitated by their alma mater on Friday. Seven graduates, Rashmi KB, Rahul Adinath Nyamagouda, Mahadeva K Gowda, Suhas KC, Mudalagi Rashmi Veerbhadra, Supriya Navali and Nithy N Gujjar, were felicitated by the college and JSS Mahavidyapeetha.Addressing the gathering, the newly appointed judges said every student should dream big, set a clear goal and work steadily to achieve it. They emphasised that success does not come overnight, but through continuous effort, discipline and patience. The judges said failures and setbacks are part of the journey and should be treated as lessons rather than reasons to quit. They said hard work combined with consistency always brings results, and said the taste and happiness of success are truly beyond explanation.
JSS Mahavidyapeetha secretary SP Manjunath said JSS Law College plays a role in transforming its students into dedicated judges, lawyers and legal experts. He said the judgments delivered by judges pave the way for peace and justice in society. Therefore, the newly appointed judges should follow this path and maintain public trust.JSS Law College executive officer KS Suresh said that more than 80 students of the college became judges in the last four decades. He said the previous year, six were selected as civil judges, and two years ago, five were selected. JSS Mahavidyapeetha executive secretary CG Betsurmath and senior advocate HN Venkatesh were present.
