Mysuru: Former chief minister BS Yeddiyurappa on Friday accused chief minister Siddaramaiah of neglecting development and taking an adversarial stance towards the Union govt. Speaking to reporters in Mysuru, he said the Siddaramaiah govt ‘failed Karnataka’ and that he would expose its shortcomings during his ongoing state tour. Yeddiyurappa said people across the state ‘desire change’ and claimed no developmental activities are taking place in the state.He also said the Iran–Israel conflict is creating ‘confusion’ about Prime Minister Narendra Modi and argued it is wrong to create confusion when Modi is “doing good work.”
Yeddiyurappa visited Suttur Mutt’s Mysuru branch at the foothills of the Chamundi Hills and sought the blessings of the seer Shivarathri Deshikendra Swami.
