Kolkata: A woman (34) was allegedly molested and her husband assaulted and robbed during a dispute over parking on a dug-up MG Road-Motilal Gupta Road connector in Behala in the presence of relatives. Three youths have been arrested. According to the complaint lodged at the Haridevpur PS, around 10 youths arrived on bikes around 2.30 am on Tuesday, attacked them and fled with a mobile. The woman alleged they were robbed of four gold necklaces but cops claimed it was not mentioned in the FIR. The fight was over the victim’s car being parked outside their home, which the youths claimed was blocking the way as the narrow road was dug up. “The woman claimed accused Rony Singh and Johny Singh and their aides from Dhawan Colony restrained her and her husband, outraged her modesty, hit her husband and snatched away his mobile,” said DC (Behala-Southwest) Rahul De.
