Hyderabad: With airlines gradually restoring services to select Gulf destinations, flight operations at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport partially resumed on Tuesday night. Five flights from Saudi Arabia and Oman arrived in Hyderabad, including services from Muscat, Jeddah, and Riyadh. The number of cancellations also declined compared to the past few days. On Tuesday, 19 arrivals and 16 departures were cancelled, taking the total to 35, a drop from nearly 50 daily cancellations reported earlier.Airlines said efforts are underway to normalise connectivity on routes impacted by airspace restrictions in the region. “The flights announced earlier to Athens, Muscat, Jeddah and Madinah, along with select repatriation flights to the UAE, have now commenced operations as we gradually restore connectivity on the impacted routes. We are also working to increase the frequency of repatriation flights to the UAE to further support customers awaiting travel,” IndiGo said in a statement.
