Hisar: Lalit Mor, 27, a resident of Bas Badshahpur village in Haryana’s Hansi district, remains stranded in Cyprus as escalating tensions in the Middle East have disrupted international travel. Lalit, who moved abroad two years ago to support his family, was set to return for his sister’s wedding on March 12.Despite booking a return flight for Feb 28, Lalit was turned away at the airport following the indefinite suspension of international flights. He is currently in contact with the Indian Embassy, though no evacuation plans have been confirmed. Back home, the festive atmosphere is clouded by his absence. “He worked tirelessly so this wedding could be celebrated in grand style,” his sister, Aarti, said.
