Jalandhar: Around 10 to 12 schools in Jalandhar city received a bomb threat e-mail between 7am and 9am on Monday. As the schools alerted the police, Jalandhar police commissionerate mobilised its anti-sabotage teams. Local SHOs, ACP Model Town, ACP Cantt, ACP Central, and officers of ADCP rank, besides other personnel swung into action.Multiple teams conducted anti-sabotage checks in each school under the supervision of officials. Police officers said the situation was brought under control with the cooperation of the school management. Schools which received the mails included Police DAV Public School at the Punjab Armed Police Campus.
