Varanasi: The additional member (Tourism and Catering) of Railway Board, Sanjay Mishra, inspected the Banaras Railway Station here on Sunday to review passenger amenities, service quality and revenue-generation initiatives.Accompanied by senior divisional commercial manager Sheikh Rahman and other officials, Mishra reviewed facilities including the IRCTC-run Food Plaza and catering stalls, Yatri Niwas, dormitory, air-conditioned waiting halls, pay-and-use toilets, ticket counters, ATVMs, digital charting system, water vending stalls and the Rail Coach Restaurant.He also inspected station concourse and assessed various assets used in passenger facilities. At the ‘One Station One Product’ stalls, Mishra examined the quality, packaging and pricing of products such as Banarasi sarees and black pottery.
