This process continues until the full moon day of Falgun, when the coconuts are ritually burned in a grand ceremony. The coconuts are offered to the goddess with prayers to ward off evil and bring prosperity. The ashes of the burned coconuts are considered sacred and are applied to the forehead as a mark of blessings.Thousands of devotees visit the temple during this period, making it a significant event in the city’s cultural calendar.
