The duo produced allotment and possession letters purportedly issued by BMC.“The documents were found to be forged and falsely signed in the name of an assistant municipal commissioner of M-East Ward. The two women, in collusion with the absconding mastermind Sansar Khan, fabricated BMC allotment letters, broke open the locks of the vacant police flats, and started residing there,” alleged an officer.Investigators said Khan, who posed as a BMC employee, promised Sufia a govt flat for Rs 5 lakh, and she paid Rs 2 lakh in cash and submitted identity documents to obtain the forged possession letters issued in the name of Shahida.
