Hyderabad: Task Force sleuths arrested four persons for allegedly selling adulterated ginger garlic paste in Jalpally on Saturday. Police have seized material worth Rs 10 lakh.Task Force sleuths said four accused — Abdul Sattar, Mohd Israil, Mohd Iftekhar and Noor Nabi —illegally manufactured ginger garlic paste products using low-quality ginger paste in unhygienic conditions without following FSSAI guidelines
According to police, SK Royal Enterprises and Shahi Gold Companies made the product using synthetic colours and operated without taking any precaution.Task Force sleuths said the accused were handed over to Pahadishareef police, who registered a criminal case and arrested them under 318(4) (cheating), 275 (sale of noxious food or drink), and 223 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) of BNS.
