Sitamarhi: Acting on a tip-off, police on Saturday arrested liquor smuggler Vinod Kumar and seized an SUV carrying 932 bottles of Nepalese wine near Mill Chowk under Riga police station in Sitamarhi district. Vinod, a resident of Punaura village in Sitamarhi, was driving the vehicle and had reportedly come from the Majorganj Indo-Nepal border area. During interrogation, he admitted that the consignment was meant for the Holi festival. Police are searching for his other accomplices.
