Chandigarh: The autopsy report in the case of the suspicious deaths of two persons in Butrela village, Sector 41, revealed that 27-year-old Nagma was strangled to death by her brother-in-law, Murshaleen, who later died by hanging in the same room. Pressure marks were found on Nagma’s neck during the postmortem, confirming murder. After the autopsy on Friday, the bodies were handed over to family members, while viscera samples were sent for further examination.Sector 39 police initially treated the matter as a case of suspicious deaths. Following the postmortem findings, they registered a murder case against the deceased, Murshaleen. Investigation revealed that Nagma had been living with her husband, Faraan, in a rented house at Butrela village for several years. Murshaleen lived separately but visited occasionally. On Thursday afternoon, both Nagma and Murshaleen were found dead inside the house. Two children present at the time informed the police about the deaths. Nagma, Faraan and Murshaleen were originally from Bijnor in Uttar Pradesh.
