Jharsuguda: Jharsuguda police ensured immediate financial assistance to the families of the five personnel, who died in the road accident on Feb 22. Nominees of four deceased police personnel received Rs 1.1 crore each, while the nominee of the home guard received Rs 30 lakh. IG (Northern range) Himanshu Lal said police completed all required documentation within 48 hours and worked closely with the banks to ensure timely disbursement of insurance and departmental benefits to the next of kin.
