Alwar: Two constables posted at Bhusawar police station in Bharatpur district were Tuesday dismissed from service by Bharatpur SP Digant Anand after a video went viral showing them bringing a young woman to the police station at night without any reason and without informing any officer. A departmental investigation found both constables guilty of unethical conduct, the SP said.The two constables, Sonu and Paramveer, brought the woman to the police station around midnight on Feb 22. People from the woman’s village reached the police station soon after and held a protest. They alleged that the two constables came on a bike to the woman’s house at night and forcibly took her away with them. They said that some locals gave chase to the bike, which went straight inside Bhusawar police station.Locals alleged that police personnel at the station snatched and confiscated a young man’s mobile phone and assaulted him when he was recording a video. They said that after the young woman’s family members learnt about the incident, they reached the police station and took her home. The family did not file any complaint out of fear, they said.SP Anand said that after a video surfaced showing Sonu and Paramveer bringing a woman to the police station on a bike, he sought a factual report from station officer Ramdayal Meena. The officer’s investigation found that the woman was forcibly brought from her home to the police station.
