Patna: A 55-year-old man, Jhoolan Prasad of Barhan village under Mufassil police station area in Siwan district, was shot dead late Monday night. He was sleeping outside his house when family members heard two gunshots. Rushing out, they found him critically injured while the attackers had fled. He was taken to Sadar Hospital, Siwan, where doctors declared him brought dead. Police registered an FIR on the complaint of his son and called a forensic team to assist in the investigation.
