Kanpur: Ten of 123 complaints were resolved on the spot during the Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas of Narwal tehsil, held under the chairmanship of district magistrate Jitendra Pratap Singh on Saturday in Kanpur. The DM directed tehsil staff to dispose of the remaining complaints within seven days, as directed in a govt notification. He also directed officials to initiate departmental action against Lekhpal Satish Singh for negligence in connection with illegal occupation of Gram Sabha land.TheDM also directed departmental action against collection amin Anil Kumar for remaining absent without leave approval and giving misleading and false information to officers. Many cases related to Khatauni amendment were resolved on the spot. Apart from this, symbolic cheques of total assistance amount of Rs 88 lakh were distributed to 16 beneficiaries of the Chief Minister Kisan Accident Welfare Scheme and four beneficiaries of the Natural Disaster Fund.
