A warm welcome to Smt. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra ji. While you’re here for your photoshoot, do take a moment to witness the “New Assam” that flourished once the Congress shadows lifted. Perhaps an itinerary would help in highlighting the stark contrast between Congress-era stagnation and Assam’s transformation under BJP governance. Do witness the rapid construction of our Rs 27,000 cr semiconductor facility at Jagiroad. A project once met with Congress’s scepticism and condescension with questions raised about whether Assam even had the talent for such an industry.”
He added, “Do interact with Assam’s youth, and hear firsthand how over 1.5 lakh jobs have been created in the last five years, restoring confidence and opportunity after decades when Congress regimes were infamous for operating “job markets” instead of building transparent employment opportunities. Do speak with families across Assam and experience the peace that has returned to the state, after decades marked by insurgency, and fear during the Congress era. Visit the tea gardens and meet the 3.5 lakh tea garden families in over 850 gardens who are finally being granted land ownership after 200 years of waiting.”
