Buxar: District magistrate Sahila chaired a meeting of the district supply task force at the Collectorate on Monday and reviewed key works of the supply department, including e-KYC, online ration card issuance and foodgrain lifting and distribution.The DM said 84.95% beneficiaries in the district have completed e-KYC, placing Buxar fourth in the state. Citing slow progress in Nawanagar, Chaugai, Itarhi, Chakki and Dumraon blocks, she directed block supply inspectors, particularly of Nawanagar, Chaugai and Kesath, to raise e-KYC coverage above the district average within a week.Reviewing ration card applications, the DM noted that 4,295 Form-A and 1,394 Form-B applications are pending scrutiny. She directed officials to verify and dispose of all pending applications within the stipulated time. Officials were also asked to verify 13,708 suspected ineligible beneficiaries and cancel ration cards as per rules.The district manager, state food corporation, was directed to ensure lifting of Feb foodgrains through doorstep delivery to all PDS dealers by Feb 19 and complete 100% distribution among beneficiaries by Feb 25. Officials were told to intensify inspections of PDS shops through the PDS Parakh app as per roster and take action against irregularities found in PDS, TPDS and CMR warehouses.Dealer association representatives said margin money has been paid only till June 2025. The district manager informed that allocations for July and Aug 2025 have been received and uploaded on CFMS, and steps are being taken to resolve the issue at the earliest. Earlier The DM also held a public hearing under the “Sabka Samman–Jeevan Aasan” programme under Saat Nishchay-03 at the Collectorate and assured citizens of prompt redressal of their grievances.People from different blocks submitted 39 applications related to various issues. The DM heard each case and directed officials concerned to take action, assuring that all applications would be disposed of within the stipulated time in a transparent and fair manner.
