JEE Mains Result 2026 highlights: The National Testing Agency has declared the JEE Main Results on February 16. Candidates who have appeared for the Joint Entrance Examination for Session 1 can check the results on the official website of NTA JEE at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The final answer key was released on the official website, earlier.
How to check results
These are the steps to check the results:
- Visit the official website of NTA JEE at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the “JEE Mains Result 2026 for Session 1” link available on the home page.
- A new page will open where candidates will have to enter their login details.
- Enter application number, password or date of birth, and the security pin.
- Click on submit and the result will be displayed.
Download the scorecard and keep multiple printouts for future reference, as it will be required during counselling and admission.

How many students scored 100 percentile
A total of 12 candidates scored a perfect 100 percentile NTA score in JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Paper 1.
When was the exam held
The Joint Entrance Examination for Session 1 was held on January 21, 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29, 2026. The Paper I exam was held on January 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28, 2026, in two shifts- first shift from 9 am to 12 noon and second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm. Paper 2 was held on the last date in a single shift- from 9 am to 12.30 pm.
The JEE Mains provisional answer key was released on February 4, 2026. The link to raise objections was closed on February 6, 2026.

JEE Mains Result 2026 Live: Key highlights until now
JEE Mains Result 2026 Live: The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the JEE Main Results on February 16. 12 candidates secured 100 percentile, with male candidates dominating the list.
Candidates who have appeared for the Joint Entrance Examination can check their results on the official website of NTA JEE at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) examination was conducted on 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28 January 2026. A total of 13,55,293 candidates registered for the exam, out of which 13,04,653 candidates appeared for the examination.
NTA also released the final answer key earlier in the day, which had dropped 9 questions.
