OnePlus 16 launch is expected later in the year but more leaks give us a better idea about what the new flagship will offer.
OnePlus 16 could be launching in 2026 with serious upgrades.
The OnePlus 16 launch is not expected until later this year but the rumours and leaks suggest the brand has already got the product blueprint in place. The new OnePlus flagship is tipped to come with new cameras and a larger battery pack but more details have been revealed via a new report, and more exciting news for buyers who are eager for an upgrade and the OnePlus 16 could become the one for them.
Since it is still very early to say if the new leaks are accurate but the noises are loud and that is enough for most out there.
A recent leak said the OnePlus 16 could finally get a meaningful camera upgrade and also join the big battery battle in 2026 among other names who have already done it. And now more details have emerged.
OnePlus 16 Specs Leak: What To Expect
The new OnePlus flagship is tipped to feature a BOE X5 OLED panel that could support up to 240Hz refresh rate, the biggest you might get on a phone. The device is likely to be powered by a new Snapdragon Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset which is rumoured to come out later this year.
OnePlus could offer not one but two 200MP cameras on the flagship which could have a massive 9,000mAh battery available with 120W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support.
Most people have talked about OnePlus not going big with imaging tech as much as its other focus areas but 2026 could see a big change in this regard.
These rumours stoked the possibility of OnePlus bringing a new ‘Pro’ or Ultra variant for the 16 series but that is unlikely to happen. And with these hardware upgrades, OnePlus will be hoping that buyers are not too critical about the inevitable price hike which most brands are going to force down our wallets this year. If any of these leaked features make it to the final product, the OnePlus 16 could be a significant upgrade from the 15 model launched in the market.
