JAMMU, FEB 10: The Lieutenant Governor’s Sainik Sahayta Kendra (LGSSK) has emerged as a dependable pillar of support for serving soldiers and their families, providing prompt and effective resolution of their grievances. Through proactive engagement and seamless coordination with relevant authorities, the Kendra ensures that the welfare concerns of those safeguarding the nation are addressed with speed, sensitivity, and precision.
Officials said the LGSSK has successfully handled multiple representations, demonstrating its commitment to the welfare of personnel of the Armed Forces and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).
In a recent case, the Kendra acted swiftly on a representation regarding a martyr’s emoluments, coordinating with concerned authorities to facilitate early resolution while maintaining due sensitivity.
In another instance, the LGSSK expedited the issuance of a migrant certificate for a serving soldier following a representation through his Commanding Officer. The matter was prioritized and resolved promptly through coordination with the relevant authorities.
The Kendra also intervened in a case involving a serving Agniveer whose father required urgent medical attention. By liaising with inter-state health authorities, timely treatment was arranged at a government medical facility, and the grievance was resolved within two days.
Officials said these cases highlight the LGSSK’s responsive and outcome-oriented approach, reinforcing its role as a crucial support system for soldiers and their families.
