Belagavi: The Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO, Belagavi) organised its 13th edition of Career Guidance Programme on Saturday. The event, held at KK Venugopal Auditorium, Gogte College of Commerce, Hindwadi, Belagavi, was designed for 10th standard students from both Belagavi city and the surrounding rural areas. The event, supported by the department of school education and literacy, Belagavi, saw participation of over 750 students. DC Mohammad Roshan addressed the students, offering valuable guidance on how to shape their career through discipline in student life. Harshavardhan Inchal, chairman, JITO, Vikram Jain, convenor, Leelavati Hiremath, DDPI Belagavi, Y J Bhajantri, BEO Belagavi City, and Anjaneya K R, BEO Belagavi Rural, were present. Abhinav Jain, probationary DC of Belagavi, spoke on career opportunities in competitive exams. Neurologist Dr Sooraj Patil spoke on career opportunities in the healthcare sector, while Retd Flt Lt Deeksha Shukla spoke on opportunities in the defence sector.
