Hassan: Final year BBA student, Ayabanu, appeared for her final exams just hours before getting married, in Hassan’s Arasikere on Thursday. Daughter of former local council member C Yunus Sab and current member Reshma Banu, Ayabanu was to be married to Ruhitpasha on Thursday, the same day as her final exam was scheduled.Ayabanu is a student of Royal Institute of Commerce College, and came to the exam centre to complete her exams before the wedding. Later, she went to the wedding hall, to complete the wedding rituals. College authorities praised Ayabanu’s academic performance, noting that she scored over 85% in the last five semesters. They stressed that while marriage is important, education is equally crucial, and thanked Ayabanu’s parents for their support. They encouraged all parents to support their daughters’ education, which would empower them in life. The authorities wished Ayabanu well.Yunus Sab said that they ensured their daughter could take her exam as they didn’t want her education to be disrupted due to the wedding. He emphasised the importance of education, as well as their daughter’s marriage for them.Ayabanu shared her thoughts, stating that her exam date was announced after her wedding was scheduled. She informed her parents and in-laws that she intended to take the exam, and they all agreed. She expressed happiness at being able to take the exam with everyone’s support and confidently stated that she would pass the exam and succeed in life.
