Kanpur: District magistrate Mahendra Singh Tanwar and chief development officer Abhinav J. Jain held a meeting here on Wednesday with officials from the Public Works Department (PWD), the Urban Water Corporation (Jal Nigam), and the Metro officials to review the construction of an approximately 1,800-metre-long road, stretching from Rawatpur Metro Station to Company Bagh crossing and instructed to ensure that the road construction must be completed by November 15 without fail.The district magistrate issued instructions to ensure that utility shifting and other related tasks under projects managed by Jal Nigam and those concerning Metro infrastructure should be completed promptly so that road construction could proceed.
